With the development of modern industry, it is demanded that the hydraulic transmission and control systems should have higher performance and control precision. It is important to analyze the hydraulic system using computer simulation technology, this technology can not only forecast system performance, reduce the design time ,but also make a whole analysis and evaluation to the system , in order to optimize the system, shorten the design cycle and improve the stability of system.Multi-Axle Vehicle is composed by many hydraulic and mechanical components, during the course of carrying and veering, the different bridges and wheel groups should cooperate with each other, and respond frequently. According to the factual case of the load, the resistant moment about Multi-Axle Vehicle veering is calculated, meanwhile, the biggest force of the veering cylinder is confirmed, all of these can provide a precondition for the design and optimization of the cyclical hydraulic system.The paper researches the foundation of hydromechanics. The working principle, characteristic and model of main hydraulic components are analyzed in detail. Furthermore, the sort, working principle and characteristic of general hydraulic transmission circuits are studied. Secondly, as the first step of simulation is modeling, the modeling methods of hydraulic systems, especially the principle, procedure and specialty were researched. Thirdly, the function and characteristic of MSC.Easy5 and modeling and simulation software referring to it for hydraulic and mechanical systems are researched. The application of main software MSC.Easy5 is demonstrated with an instance of position control system for a hydraulic actuator. Lastly, the hydraulic system of Multi-Axle Vehicle is simulated and researched with MSC.Easy5.During the course of the whole cyclical hydraulic system modeling, the original model is the hydraulic principle drawing, then, the setting of the hydraulic components parameter and the definition of the function can be done. the key components are the products of Rexroth, and are analyzed particularly, the correctness of the choose for the important parts is identified not only in theory but also in fact, all of these can insure a actual imitation result. In the course of modeling, the effective imitation function is edited according to the capability parameter and physical equation of the hydraulic components. Then, the hydraulicmodel is imitated, analyzed and optimized. Before the imitation, the step and time is set, when the imitation is done, the changed curve can be observed accurately, the velocity of the cylinder, the pressure of the system and damp can be analyzed and optimized too.In allusion to steering system dynamic model, the simulation research to system model is done by Easy5, and the paper analyzes the influence of the changing of the parameter of the control system, the changing of the total volume of cylinder and the changing of the system pressure and load on EHPS(Electronic Hydraulic power steering system)...
