Training in Driving Simulator can reduce the training time of motorcycle and can be not limited by time, ground, weather. The study of the motorcycle-driving simulator used for development has become an importance development direction because of the notable characteristics of high safety, well reappearance of scene, low cost and can be developed easily. Virtual reality technology merged such a lot of information technology branches as digital graphics process, computer graphics, multimedia technology, sensor technology, and it is a rising information technology at the end of the 20thcentury. The development of virtual reality technology in our country has just started, but it is several years that researching the driving simulator. It is no problem that realization of various kinds of sport scenes and vision simulation, but the sense of drive immersing it is not strong, so the training is not very efficient. it need simulate six degree of freedom at the sport its and combine real-time vision simulation to reproduce environment of driving. Virtual reality technology applies motorcycle-driving Simulation System , which provide the real sense to drivers. Man, motorcycle and environment immerse together, drivers can feel the vibration, inclination of motorcycle directly. Making extremely experiment of collision and turn over, it break the difficulty of the complex feeling to drivers, which can hardly express with mathematics model.The scene simulation system is a important part of driving simulator. According to simulation purpose, it structures a environment which is multidimensional,appreciable,real and can be measured applying computer figure technology. Building up the models of the scene simulation system using thesoftware of MultiGen Creator and developed the scene simulation system of the motorcycle-driving simulator using OpenGL language and OpenGVS software .Achieving natural interaction between user and environment by providing control facility, sequentially, it can attain very real simulation effect. The control software of kinetic simulation system of motorcycle-driving simulator transacts the position information of movement plat carried by scene system, then the receiving information is transmitted to the input port, and control the servo system of the electric-liquid to simulate various movement of motorcycle-driving. According to Virtual-driving environment on computer screen, driver changes direction ,change gear, the control of deceleration an db rake of motorcycle in virtual environment through the controller(steering wheel, clutch pedal, footbrake pedal, accelerator pedal, and the device of speed change of transmission) and software interface program to realize active driving.Three kinds of technologies that aims at realizing the simulated driving system for motorcycle with virtual reality were discussed systematically in the thesis, including virtual reality technology, motion simulator technology and vision simulation technology. And the Dynamic Equation of motorcycle was analyzed and established. Then we researched and established the simulated driving system for motorcycle with virtual reality based upon the motion simulator of 6-DOF, which is driven by the hydraulic power system. So can we realize the real-time feedback of the information such as vision and motion. The main contents of my paper is depicted as following:(1) Built up the proper dynamics model and applied it to scene simulation program after general consideration ,and drive the motorcycle model to move.(2) Building up the models of the scene simulation system using the software of MultiGen Creator. Developed the scene simulation system of the motorcycle -driving simulator using advanced scene management software OpenGVS, and the Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 target-oriented programming technology are used in the visual system, dealing well with the problems such as terrain following, collision detection appear in the scene simulation system. Using multi-channel technology that can display the position and pose of the automobile at multi-angle of view in the scene to realize the display of scene.(3) Adopted 6-DOF parallel connection mechanism as well as its controlequipments to be the cockpit and its control system. Experiment shows the system can completely respond by real time to the motion of the motorcycle model .This simulation system can reflect the various position, such as start, accelerate, brake, veer. Drivers can feel all of the sense just like he manipulate a real motorcycle .So it realizes the simulation function of this system.This simulation system realized the motorcycle-driving simulation effect by using visual reality technology and by searching development of motorcycle-driving simulator Adopted 6-DOF parallel connection mechanism. It can support real-time sensation of approaching real driving movement through.
