As a typical method, asphalt concrete is adopted to lay over an old concrete pavement. It has the advantages of short construction period, little side effects for transportation and good service after renovation. So it has been the common measure to improve the pavement performance, promote the carrying capacity and prolong the service deadline. The pitch adds and paves the compound structure of concrete road surface of old cement to use in a large amount at home and abroad, but not ripe design method and design specification of perfection. Launch old concrete road surface is it spread pitch layer is it reflect research of crack to prevent and cure to add, it is very necessary.A correct assessment for pavement distress and structure characteristic of old cement concrete pavement before overlay is the stick point of preventing reflection cracking and guarantee the success of rehabilitation, which requires understanding how the structure characteristic of old pavement effects the stress of the asphalt overlay. This text uses the finite element theory to add the complex road surface structure which paves storey and carry on mechanics analysis to old cement concrete pavement with asphalt overlay, and ANSYS analyses load function structure layers of elastic mould amount and change of thickness add and pave influencing by strength of layer to the road surface in vehicle through finite element; thermal stress and temperature and coupling which the vehicle load among layer under temperature function ; The old cement concrete which sets up the intermediate layer adds and paves the temperature between one storey of structure of pitch to receive strength performance while loading the lower floor of function .Finally, according to this text research, put forward one asphalt layer of recommendation associations with geo-synthetics interlayer. Offer reference for designing, and to researching and proposing some suggestions further.
