The Investigation And Analysis Of Corroded And Cracked Reinforced Concrete

With the increasing of the service time in the reinforced concrete structures, different kinds of deteriorations such as cracks, carbonization and corrosion of reinforced steel will occur, which have a different degree affect on the service performance of the structures. In the reinforced concrete structure durability appraisal research, the crack shape and the rule which the steel bar rust eclipse causes is one of most direct-viewing most convenient appraisal targets. Damage pattern of corroded and cracked reinforced concrete is the base of assessment of corroded reinforced concrete structures. The crack can speed up the concrete carbonization and the steel bar rust eclipse in the certain degree, thus reduces the structure's durability.This paper through to the different type concrete structure investigation of crack damage, has analyzed the crack distributed shape, the crack position and quantity, summarizes the type of the concrete component to destroy, discovered that the pattern of corroded component is related to the steel bar position, the steel bar arrangement and concrete protector thickness. According to the project examination result, the nearer to the concrete boundary the heavier the steel bar rusts. Smooth steel bar has been used as a study object in this paper, and the contour inside and outside the rusty steel bar is simulated as a oval. Through theoretical analysis, the corrosion layer mathematical model is established. Using the model can estimate the amount of steel corrosion and also can estimate the corrosion depth of the rusty steel bar. Application of the measured data of the project meets the model test well.
