In this paper, a kind of light aggregate micro foam concrete is prepared with cement, aggregate, additives and some other auxiliary cementitious materials from Gansu province. Investigation on this material was carried out by microstructure analysis and macrography properties testing. The influence of raw material properties and composition on the performance of concrete was discussed. Aiming at the special micro foam structure of this material, which different from the common concrete, foaming and bubble stabilizing and fiber reinforcing experiments were conducted. The Physical mechanics properties and durability of this material were analyzed, and the hydrating and hardening mechanism of such concrete system were discussed.It is found that: Light aggregate micro foam concrete could be prepared by integrated blending fly ash, slag, and volatilized silica with 25%(Wt) blending ratio. The uniformly distributed micropores inside light aggregate micro foam concrete make sure the perfect fluidity, workability, pumpability, barrier property and freeze resistance of concrete and depress the segregating and weeping of mixture. Meanwhile, the generation of harmful gross and penetrating pores is restrained and the strength of material is enhanced. Introducing HFPP polypropylene fiber, Lanwei Vioylon fiber or steel fiber has toughening effect on the concrete. Among these fibers, the effect caused by steel fiber is the most remarkable. The water inside the light aggregate play the roles of compensating shrinkage, depressing the self- shrinkage and early shrinkage of concrete and improving the cracking resistance of material. Introducing reinforcing fibers into light aggregate micro foam could decrease the shrinkage percentage of concrete remarkably. With the aid of increasing the water saturation inside light aggregate, joint using aggregates with different water saturation and adding fly ash, fibers and additives into concrete, the volume stability of material is enhanced. Attributing to the interface reinforcing effect, the light aggregate bend with surrounding alite tightly, which improve the durability of material observably. On the basis of afore-mentioned research, a kind of producing process for the flow-pattern light aggregate micro foam concrete products is introduced.
