The steel reinforced concrete special-shaped columns combine the advantages of steel reinforced concrete structures with the advantages of special-shaped columns. So they have a widest applied prospect. Few of references about this structure can be found at present. Meanwhile, the basic theory including the computational method and seismic behavior needs further developed.Data such as destruction pattern, hysteretic curves and stress distribution in different conditions are obtained by the test research of 17 specimens under low cyclic reversed loading. The bond-slip properties of steel reinforced concrete special-shaped columns are analyzed as a part of our task group's study. The measure method for bond stress between steel shape and concrete is found according to the load state of specimens. Based on the test results, the distribution principle of steel shape's strain and bond stress along columns is obtained. Meanwhile, the formula of bond stress degeneration in the condition of reversed loading is put forward.Interior slip between steel shape and concrete along columns is directly measured. The load-slip hysteretic and skeleton curves of steel reinforced concrete special-shaped columns are obtained in utilize of a new type of slip transfer named "Embedded Electronic Steel-Concrete Slip Transfer" invented by task group. The distribution law of slip along column is also gained. The bond-slip constitutive relation model in low cyclic reversed loading is established based on the parabola distribution for bond stress and exponential distribution for slip. Then the value of all parameters is confirmed. The cover thicknesses in two directions are influenced by each other in the steel reinforced concrete columns. The relationship between them is established by avoiding shear bond failure pattern. Compared the estimates to past test results, the formula is convinced safety and serviceability.
