Chinese ancient timber architecture is important in Chinese traditional culture, and to some degree they represent the development level of science and technology in ancient China. Chinese ancient timber architecture is the three aspects of the history, art and scientific characteristics. Before the research of ancient timber architecture was not dealt with the architecture science but history and art.Based on introducing the ancient timber lifted team structure, the aseismic characteristics of members which stem from the ancient timber lifted team structure are studied and deduced the finite element of members. In order to prove corbel bracket, tenon joint and roof to master the passive energy dissipation mechanism of ancient timber lifted beam structure, according to the actual ancient timber place with a scale of 1:3.52, its finite element model is set up and analyzed by the software SAP2000.Finally, the ideal and expected results is acquried.
