When vehicles are braking, the inter-coupling action between the suspension system and the braking system will affect the ride comfort and braking performance of the vehicles. In order to improve the vehicle's integrated performance, it is necessary to make an integrated control of the above two systems.In this paper, we established the dynamic models of active suspension system and anti-locked braking system, and designed respectively Linear-Quadratic-Gauss optimal controller (LQG) for the former and sliding mode-variable structure controller (SMC) based on the method of exponential tendency rate for the latter according to the above models. The simulation results showed that the two controllers were realizable and effective.Secondly, a strategy of integrated control based on compensation action was put forward for the integrated system of Active Suspension System (ASS) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) .We designed a integrated controller to compensate respectively the control performance loss of subsystems resulting from the inter-coupling action based on the single control of these two systems by analyze the interrelation between ASS and ABS home. In the environment of Matlab/Simulink, integrated system of ASS and ABS was simulated and the results of simulation were compared and analyzed under integrated control and combined control, from which we can see that adopting the strategy of integrated control can not only enhance the brake performance, but also ameliorate the performance of ASS.Based on the hardware system of PXI, with the environment of graphics programming, the program of arithmetic of logical gate-limited control was finished and tested in the road for the ABS of CH7110 vehicle. The results of experiment indicated that employing the graphics development tools can facilitate acquisition of signal and communication of information and realization of control arithmetic, which have a directive meaning for the after development of integrated control system of the whole chassis.
