Modern Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Drive System with high performance need the controller of fast speed response, good robust, easy realization in project and high anti-disturbance ability. The thesis research the control scheme of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). Based on all-sided research of different control theories, The work of research absorb new theory and idea too. At last, The work focus on study of Direct Torque Control (DTC) and Variable Structure Sliding Mode (VSSM) by combining theoretical analysis with computer simulation.After carefully analyzing the two kind of control method, The work emphasize that Direct Torque Control integrate with Variable Structure Sliding Mode and apply to PMSM successfully. The VSSM make up the shortage of DTC and enhance the performance of PMSM better. Theory analyzing and Simulation results testify that the novel VSSM control strategy solve these problems effectively and show strong robust to motor of parameters uncertainty, external disturbance and noise. The whole control system has high-performance dynamic and static characteristics, overcomes the problem on high flux and torque ripple of conventional DTC. The Chattering problem of VSSM is restrained obviously according to the improved method.
