With the development of the economy, the requirement of infrastructure, especially the traffic foundation facilities increases continually. As a kind of permanent construction, railway tunnel requires constructing lining and selects proper lining style to guarantee long-term service. Aiming at the deficiency of the single-shell lining research on the mechanical properties and action mechanism in and abroad, as a new trend, the single-shell lining research and promotion can replace secondary lining in certain tunnels and create huge economic benefits. By further researching the present outcome and adopting related methods, it is expected to achieve control index for design and verify the feasibility for construction in actual state.The paper contains two parts. One part is about in-situ experiment whose content is about the tests of initial,compressive,bonding strength and impermeability of materials which contented C25 Sprayed Concrete,C25 silicon Sprayed Concrete,C25 steel fiber Sprayed Concrete and C25 polypropylene Sprayed Concrete, The methods,processes and results were exposited and analyzed to get mechanical property index of materials.In this dissertation, the other part is about verifying the feasibility and rationality of single-shell lining through the application analysis, which contains modifying design of application example based on NMT method, monitoring and measuring the internal force of lining during construction, comparing the difference in stress of single-shell lining with that in composite one by the contrasting methods.
