As welding deformations of curved hull block is complex, it s is difficult to predict its deformation. And it is also difficult to rectify the deformations in the shipbuilding. Therefore, developing a precise method to predict the weld deformations of curved hull is necessary to improve the quality and efficiency of the shipbuilding. The equivalent load method based on the inherent strain is studied in this thesis, instead of the thermal-elastic-plastic method. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, study the welding temperature field of the fillet weld, find out how does the welding temperature field distribute.Secondly, calculate the degree of restraint of the curved structure by the experiment results and the panel restraint which was carried out by the unit loads method.Thirdly, calculate the inherent strain by distribution of the max-temperature and the restraint, and transient it to the equivalent loads.Fourthly, load the equivalent loads to the curved structure and the results in this method are supported by the others' experimental data. It is proved that equivalent load method can predict the weld deformations of curved hull block. Then the method is used to predict the welding deformation of large and complex curved hull block;Fifthly, evaluate the effect of the constraining condition of curved hull, which depends on the contact condition between the plate and the positioning jig...
