Conventional servo system of fin stabilizers was used to be electricity-liquid servo system. But it has the limitations such as high price, huge volume, pressurize parts of an apparatus easy to be aging, the oil leak and inconvenient maintenance. With the rapid development of power-electronics technique and micro-control technique in recent years, electrical servo system has replaced the position of the liquid servo system used in the fields such as industry, national defence and has become the main trend. Electrical servo system has simple configuration, convenient control, high reliability and low price, has developed increasingly. All the forenamed advantages facilitate the use of fin stabilizes on the medium and pint-size ships.This paper is estimated to the load and turn moment of motor. According to the characteristic of fin stabilizers, the requirement of design index and based on the theory of asynchronous motor vector control, The paper investigate the system structure and control law of fin stabilizers servo system, of which applying electric current loop, speed loop, position loop in this system. With the disadvantage of the parameter of PID controller is fixed in electricity servo system of fin stabilizers, can not be amended online, can't be adapt by complicated ocean wave, The paper discuss the adaptive fuzzy-control, and amend the proportional gene of position loop controller online. With the software of MATLAB7.0, The paper simulate the situation of the ocean wave according to the heights (2.68m, 3.75m, 4.26m) and angles (45°,90°,135°) of ocean which I look on as the disturbing import of the system. The paper simulate the control system of fin stabilizers using conventional electricity-liquid servo system, electricity servo system with vector control, electricity servo system with fuzzy control and look on them as the followed system. Finally The paper calculate the simulation results. The simulation results demonstrate that the fin stabilizers, which used the electrical servo system that based on asynchronous motor vector control, can follow the changing signal of fin stabilizers angle with rapid response and little dynamic error. Compared with the conventional servo system of fin stabilizers, electrical servo system had the advantages of better effects of reducing the ship vibration. The electrical servo system with ameliorated fuzzy controller increased the adaptability of system to diversified ocean ware, which made a better effect of reducing the ship vibration.
