In order to column ductility requirements, standardize limites axial compression ratio . Column mainly hope of occurring large eccentric compression damage, thereby ensuring adequate column deformation capacity. Norms exist certain problems to control the axial compression ratio limit . Columns meet the axial compression ratio requirementsa and Columns of increasing cross-section, this has led to shear strength increased. But the bending stiffness increased, in the bottom of the structure is often easy to form short column. This is a paradox resolve this contradiction is the best way, without loss of ductility and shear performance decrease when pole cross-section area (lower pole bending stiffness). Regional bound by concrete pillars can improve the ductility, strength and seismic performance, axial compression ratio resolve the contradictions. However, if in accordance with the existing norms of axial compression ratio limit, the binding strength and ductility increase not fully utilized, This loss of the significance of the study, How to select a reasonable regional confined concrete axial compression ratio is to fully utilize the binding strength and ductility after the key subject to the constraints of the regional trial concrete columns on the basis of axial compression ratio of theoretical study, PKPM software used by comparative analysis method on the existing framework of reinforced concrete structures and concrete framework for regional restraint structure model comparing two different the same point, given reasonable axial compression ratio limits for new ways to promote the use of the theory.
