Owing to great improvement in anti-submarine technology , the survivability of underwater submarine faced great threat. Therefore, development of a technology for the submarine to detect the anti-submarine helicopter is urgently required. This thesis mainly presents the study for acoustic dual detection in air and under-water and increasing the TDE (time-delay estimation) estimation precision applying the correlation theory. This paper introduces the sound field of a point source to water and select the refracted wave as the dual detection in air and under water according to the theory of ray theory. Based on traditional localization methods, it presents a new detecting idea-- acoustic dual detection in air and under-water for aircraft tracking that could estimate the distance of sound resource. Further more, this paper come up with the correlation theory to detect the weak signal under water. At last, this paper proves that the correlation theory increase the precision of TDE and receives primary localization of pulse sound resource according to two field experiments.
