At present, The development of display technology is towards to large screen, high luminance, contrast and definition. Especially, being relative to conventional display technology, large screen display technology raises completely different requirements. It has no conventional display screen, and takes objects such as large buildings, water curtain ,and so on, which can reflect light, as display screen and takes beam of light scanning as display method. It's image features larger display area(larger 1 square meter), high luminance, contrast and definition.As compared to all kinds of display light sources, laser is best light source with the characteristics of monochromatic, directivity, high luminance, high color saturation. Laser scanning display technology utilizes the laser excellent characteristics, integrates with computer, laser techniques and image processing techniques. It has been mostly used in entertainments, adverticsments etc. It not only has huge economy benefits, but also society benefits, and can be applied to military purpose.The experiment equipment consists of three primary colors solid state lasers which are as the light source, spectroscopes which are used to produce color beams of light, two galvanometers systems which are used to scan. This paper principally researches the relationship between scanning methods and the resolution, and puts forward a innovative scanning method, called closed path scanning and gives control circuits. The closed path scanning eliminates spending of time in the back scanning of the conventional scanning methods and makes maximal resolution. The scanning methods are the keys ,and decides the design of the control system. The PC image processing software extracts and separates the five kinds of display information and makes five independent files. These files are transmitted to the projector controller by the USB bus. The controller adopt double buffers parallel processing technique. This makes the information processing, transmitting, storage and display operation at the same time. What is more important, all the display informations are individually processed at the same time. So, this realizes the synchronization of the all the display informations. Adopting this technique ensures spending least time for one pixel, and then realizes the maximal resolution.Adopting closed path scanning method, double buffers parallel processing technique is innovative.
