With the advance of science and the development of society, more andmore tall buildings appeared, and are developing toward the direction of highstrength and light mass. The stiffness and damping of structures are declining. The effect of the wind, as the main load to the tall buildings, to the structures isaggravating. Through the way of control of wind-induced vibration, thewind-induced response of structures is reduced effectively, the reliability isimproved and comfort requirement is satisfied. Wind-induced damage isreduced. At present, the base-isolation structures and the structures with Maxwelldampers are gradually applying in the projects.Because of the damping matrixesof all of these structures'motion equations are non-classical, even the mass andstiffness matrixes of them are non-symmetry, so the dynamic equation can't bedecoupled by the traditional real-mcode analysis (the mode-superpositionmethod). Though, in this thesis the complex-mode analysis is used to solve thestationary random earthquake response, optimum design and wind actioncalculation of structures. The thesis includes the following content:1,For the base-isolation structures and the structures with Maxwelldampers, using the complex-mode analysis, the wind responses of the abovestructures are got base on Davenport spectrum. In the thesis for thebase-isolation structures, the nonlinear random vibration is got.2,On the basis of the above analytic expressions, taking the isolation orseismic decrease coefficient (the ratio of the standard deviation of the responseof structures) as the optimal objective function, under the constraint of dynamicreliability of the isolated equipment based on the type of Poisson, the optimaldesign parameters of isolated equipment are got. 3,On base of this accomplishment, with the theory of complex-modeanalysis, receive the way of wind action value of non-classical damping andnon-symmetry structures, so the commonly method of the generalizednon-classical structure earthquake action value of response spectra are gotprincipium. In this paper, the above way is used to solve the base-isolationstructures and structures with Maxwell dampers.
