Voltage sag is that the root-mean-square value of supply voltage drops suddenly in the short time. Along with electrical equipment up-dating, especially the digital automatic control technology obtains the strong application in the industrial production, and it set a higher request to the voltage quality. Voltage sags are mainly caused by line faults with very strong randomness, which brings very big difficulty to its settlement. The statistics and analysis and prediction of voltage sags are proposed for this question. This paper first carries out investigation on voltage sags existing in Xingtai electric network, and gets basic material in reality. On this basis, this paper extends the method of voltage divider, and introduces impendance-matrix which is used in short circuit fault calculation to predict and evaluate the voltage sags in some place of Xingtai. At last, some solutions of voltage sags are presented in this paper.
