Hybrid vehicle technology has been widely studied in recent years because of its potential to significantly improve fuel economy and reduce emissions of ground vehicles. The supervisory control of a hybrid vehicle is commonly referred to as the power management problem. The design of the control algorithm that determines the proper power split between different power sources in order to minimize fuel consumption and emissions. In this dissertation, a control design procedure based on system level modeling, the driving environment is proposed to solve the power management problem of fuel-cell hybrid vehicle.Firstly, the author analyses the character of some energy systems suitable for driving the electric vehicle. Then he discusses several constitution plans for the power system, finally proposes the multi-energy power system.Secondly, based on the energy management system for parallel hybrid fuel-cell vehicles, the author analyses the characteristic of the energy management subsystem. After setting the Intelligent Energy Management System, and analyses that the system incorporates a driving situation identification component whose role is to assess the driving environment, the driving style of the driver, and the operating mode (and trend) of the vehicle using long and short term statistical features of the drive cycle. And then he builds the fuzzy logical control strategies.Thirdly, this dissertation avoids some shortcomings, the membership functions' choices being affected by the man-made factors, which is brought by the traditional fuzzy control method, builds a control system based on fuzzy neural network (ANFIS), and uses the mix study method to train the neural network. We get the rational fuzzy rules and the membership functions to get the aim of energy management.After researching the performances of the whole power system and the components, we build the simulation models based on mathematical models which are set up by MATLAB/SIMULINK and ADVISOR2004 software. At last, we use ADVISOR2004 software to simulate the vehicle's dynamic performance. It is seemed that the dynamic performance and the components efficiency of the new vehicle are greatly improved. The result of emulator indicates that this design can enhance the vehicle's performances, get a good balance of vehicle's power, safety and comfort.
