In the thesis, the valve's failure forms and the reasons of which have been analyzed ,based on the research achievements of abroad and home in the field. The relation between operating conditions of valve and its failure form has been discussed. In the thesis, the theory of finite element analysis (FEA) and the FEA software ANSYS have been introduced. Based on the nested technique of C++ and APDL , a finite element analysis (FEA) model has been established and used to analyze the stress and strain behaviors of the valve in abnormal operating conditions. By comparing the finite element analysis to mechanics model, the validity and reliability of finite element analysis have been approved. In the thesis, a coupling module between the thermodynamic and stress of the valve has also established. The module included in the researches of impact model of valve in eccentricity case. The relations between the parameters of the valve and its stress status in different operating conditions have been investigated. In the thesis, extruding process of engine valve has been simulated , in the base of which, the relation between stress status in abnormal operating condition and in extruding process have been discussedFor designing conveniently, an optimized structure parameter design software with interface between person and computer has also been developed.
