Under the intensely impact of the"post-modernism"ideological trend, the design for hotels has attached importance to the"process", the"time"and all-directional sense of space and time. The static and limited pattern of design has withdrawn from the historical arena. Dynamic ideas and techniques of the design symbols design concepts'innovation. It is different from the traditional functionalism pattern that the idea of dynamic design covers from the stage of the design, of the use and even to all the stages of the renewal and transformation in the future. It values the dynamic adaptability originating from the design activities which will be used to satisfy demands in the future. To some extent, the core content of the idea of dynamic design is consistent with"sustainable developmental strategy".How?——the main body of the thesisThe first part briefly elaborates reasons for carrying currently on dynamic design with Chinese hotels. Furthermore, it also outlines some contents such as the proposition, the goal, the significance, the object, method and the objective and so on.The second part starts from the concept of"dynamic", proposes the new idea——using the idea of dynamic design in the practice of renewal of the hotel space. The writer attempts to provide historical backgrounds and correlative theory grounds for the establishment of the system of the idea of dynamic design by the bellowing ways——first, to tap the dynamic and elastic thought which has been stored in the Chinese traditional timberwork construction system; second, to collect and reorganize the examples and methods of the western dynamic-functional design.The third part induces and sums up the space characteristics of hotels which are guided by the concept of dynamic design by analyzing the status quo and the reason for existing of the design of Chinese hotels. Furthermore, by analyzing the key point——fixed and semi-fixed characteristic essential factor, it draws the conclusion of the general principles and processing techniques of the idea of dynamic design which originates from the bellowing aspects——from the planning and design of the hotel design, from the construction and from the expandable design.The final part discusses the correlative questions about the hotel dynamic design by analyzing in detail the project of the hotel transformation design.What?——goals of the studyThe introduction of the concept——the dynamic design in the area of the hotel design aims to establish a adjustable system which will be able to adapting the environmental and demanding vicissitude and be able to feedback by applying correlative principles, methods and theories. By comprehensive appraisal of economic, social and environmental benefits in the procession of the hotel design, the thesis aims to discuss the way of the hotel design and to provide more scientific methods about the design and renewal and transformation of domestic hotels in the future.Not as an mature theory frame, the thesis applies the opening structure——contents of the study connecting with each other and also developing respectively, and do not draw the conclusion eagerly. Thus, it keeps the leeway for expansion and adjustment in the future.
