Micro-engine is a kind of new engine which was developed from the end of the 20thcentury, new direction of development is inaugurated by its appearance for thedevelopment of propulsion system, it has potential application value in the domain ofspaceflight and military. In this paper, the variety of the flow field of impulse micro-engineis researched by using numerical simulation.The main points are as follow:(1) Design a simple igniting control circuitry for impulse micro-engine by usingCPLD, from design the hardware and software to fabricate the board of circuitry, thedesign satisfies the need ofmicromation;(2) Based on the interior ballistics and calculation hydrodynamics, the flow field ofimpulse micro-engine is predigested, the classical interior ballistic model and theintegrative model of one-dimentional two-phase flow of combustor and nozzle areestablished, the governing equations of flow field are confirmed;(3) First of all, the flow field of impulse micro-engine is simulated by usingforth-order Runge-Kutta method, the influence of free cubage, caloric loss, breakagepressure on impulse micro-engine are analyzed;(4) Based on the idea of CE/SE method, a new approach of CE/SE and its matrix ofJacobian are deduced for solving one-dimentional Euler equations;(5) The flow field of impulse micro-engine is simulated by using CE/SE method, thevarieties of all kinds of variable in the combustor and nozzle are analyzed, effect of ignitercharges on internal ballistic performance for impulse micro-engine is analyzed.
