Research Of The Impact Of Urban Road Conditions And Traffic Environment On Traffic Safety

The factors that affect the road safety are numerous and complicated. The core issue of research is the impact of urban road conditions and traffic environment on traffic safety. The major impact factors of road conditions and traffic environment on traffic safety are given and analyzed. The interaction between road conditions& traffic environment and traffic safety is nailed down. Accordingly, the evaluation indicators are proposed, and the system analysis model is built applying the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Finally, the road conditions & environment and the safety situation are analyzed by investigation and analysis, under the research background of Jiulidi Road, and the impact of road conditions and traffic environment on traffic safety is appraised applying AHP. The structure consists of six parts.Chapter 1 is exordium, the research background is addressed, the research situation at home and abroad is analyzed, and the research objective and significance are nailed down.In the second chapter, the basic contents of the road conditions and traffic environment are discussed, and the actuality in the two areas is analyzed.In the chapter 3, the basic theory of safety is expatiated, and the actuality of traffic safety is analyzed.In the chapter 4, the impact factors of road conditions and traffic environment on traffic safety are discussed, the interrelation between them is analyzed, the evaluation indicators are given, and the system appraisal model is built applying the AHP for the impact of the road conditions and environment on traffic safety.In the chapter 5, the situation of road conditions & environment and traffic safety is analyzed through the investigation on the Jiulidi road. Then, the comprehensive appraisal of impact degree of road conditions and environments on traffic safety is built, and the results are in line with the actual situation.In the conclusion, the experience of research work is summed up, and the issue that is not lucubrated is expected. The research purpose of this paper is providing some ideas and methods for urban road design, and traffic safety audit, operation and management for road.
