Research On Acoustics Leakage Detection System In Natural Gas Pipeline

As a means of economic, effective and environmental transportation, pipeline is showing its unique advantages in the transportation process of petroleum, natural gas and so on. Because the distance of pipeline transportation is very long, and at the same time there are some other natural and factitious factors, such as aging, erosion and so on, the leakage of pipelines happen at times. This not only cause the loss of national property, but also contaminate the environment. So the safeguard and security coursing have been a very important undertaking, and the monitor and orientation of the pipeline leakage have also been a stringent problem. As a matter of this, it is emergent to investigate the monitor technology of leak and development the monitor system, which has high accuracy.This paper adopts the method of acoustic and use it into the leak of pipelines which transport the gas by comparing the technology and researches of home and abroad. It also introduces the basic character of the pipelines signal and the basic theory of the acoustic measurement. And then it introduces a suit of utilized and effective method to deal with the signal of the leakage according to the character of the leak signal and the capability demand of the system. At last, it gives the principle and design of the distract circuit, simulated signal circuit and the A/D transfer circuit in detail. In the micro-computer system, it adopts Delphi developmental environment and designs a system of leak which can tell the problem of the error when the leak happens; completes the algorithm of digital filtration, FFT analysis and some process of the signal; and also realizes the showing function of the useful data and the waveform of the signal.The experimental result shows, the condensor in the environmental of pressure can be used in the detectation of the pipelines leak. The data system fulfils the effective identification of the acoustic signal, picking and transportation. The software of the micro-computer system fulfils the communication of the data, the management method of the leak signal and the showing of the interface.By experimenting and monitoring the data and the waveform of the system, it comes to the result that the method of the monitor and the pipelines leak signal is actable and useful.
