Abstract/Summary:
The GPS/DR system is one of the preferable projects in the integrated vehicle navigation system. On one hand, the system can overcome the disadvantages of using GPS only, for example, GPS cannot position the location accurately when it has been sheltered by other objects. On the other hand, it can combine the advantages of GPS and DR and so improve the precision of positioning and reliability.The paper discusses the importance of vehicle navigation system and the present status of vehicle navigation development in China, The paper has analyzed GPS and DR basic principle, also analyzed the navigation telegram text composition and the solution calculates method, proposed in view of the DR navigation particularity, the software top basic thought are presented. Then produced the practical feasible GPS/DR combined navigation system combination plan in this foundation.The paper introduced the embedded system's basic concept. From the embedded platform, the characteristic and the intelligent vehicle navigation system function, proposed inserted the type vehicle based on Windows CE to carry the automated navigation system the overall plan. Emphatically studied has soft top technology realization,combined navigation modeling and the embedded system's BSP composition, structure and transplant to the specific hardware. Uses outside in view of the navigation hangs SDDISK, produced the part of MAIN CONTROL and BSP to the SDDISK connection support.Finally, the test platform had been built and done the experiment on the vehicle. The experimental result indicated that, the system has the better localization accuracy and reliability, the results in a high performance-price-ratio.
