Gravity anchor is one of essential forced components of steady suspension bridge. This paper takes the example of steady suspension bridge gravity anchor design and carries on the FEM numerical simulation, main contents as follows:1. Summarizing the general view of suspension bridge gravity anchor which the Chinese and foreign countries have built.2. Introducing the elementary theory of temperature field3. Introducing the structure analysis and the ANSYS software4. With large-scale general FEM software ANSYS, the paper has carried on the preliminary numerical simulation computation to temperature field of gravity anchor. From the computed result analysis, studying the temperature distribution rule within 360 days of concrete pouring , drawing some conclusions, and put forward some reference proposals.5. After the analysis research of temperature field distribution curve rule, the paper draw some conclusions .And based on those, the paper has further discussed the reason that influence temperature field change of mass concrete. Finally, this paper has carried on the summary, and has pointed out the further work.
