Multi-channel energy analysis instrument of many years ago mostly is composed of complex analog circuits and simple digital circuits. In 70s of 20th century, computer and semiconductor technology going fast, and multi-channel energy analysis instrument is designed by micro-controller. In 90s of 20th century, energy analysis instrument is becoming more and more intelligent.Along with the development of science and the deep explore of nuclear we find it necessary to find out the result of measuring in time,and it is important to design handset instrument or portable instrument which can work together with intelligent robot. This paper mainly studies a kind of handset instrument measuringγradiation which can analysis energy of the signal. The theory of my design is according to the newest technology of internal or overseas.The thesis mainly introduces the theory of measuring energy signal ofγradiation and the circuit design. In the design the MCU is C8051F064 which include a 16 bits ADC. There are other circuit like linearity amplifier, signal top detect, dc-dc, LCD etc. In software design, mainly introduce man-machine conversation, data gathering in interrupt, UART communication etc. Last, using the machine I have just design I have measured three standard radioactivity sample- 137Cs,Th,40K using two kind of detector NaI and BGO.It takes me one year to design the handset instrument. And it can measuringγradiation in 256 channels, and display in a mini-color LCD.
