Evaluation of On-line testing method and the criterion with fault diagnosising to the insulation of capacitive equipments based on engineering application is studied in this theis. Based on the investigation and theoretical analysis of test methods used in china, we improved the measuring instrument and his data processing technique. With a long period field measurement, we get a great deal of figures of on-line test and off-line test. Based on the analysis of these figures, We developed the idea of evaluation system of on-line testing methods, including repeatability,regularity,stability,precision,omiting-rate and mistaking-rate. Give some advice on how to reduce the influency of field test. On the basis of appling the evaluation system of on-line test and statistical analysis about these figures, Summarized the criterion about faults and hidden defects with 220kv and 110kv capacitive current transformer in live test, and also give some advice on how to expect the recidual life of equipments.
