Single-phase forced convective heat transfer inside tube is an important research realm in the technology of heat transfer "augmentation. It plays an important part in saving energy and decreasing the volume and weight of heat exchanger. In our studies, internally finned tube that used in heat exchanger for centrifugal compressor can be used to enhance single-phase forced convective heat transfer inside tube. In usual air-liquid tube heat exchangers, liquid walks in the tube and air walk out the tube, to improve the efficiency of the air's side, the adoption adds the way of a tube of wings to increase the exchange area. The shortage of this kind of exchanger is that though increase the exchange area of air's side, the air current velocity still in lower level, so the coefficient of transmit heat still very low, that cause energy of heat exchange still not high. Internally finned tube heat exchanger is a kind of new heat exchangers. It's basic characteristics is exchange two kinds of material's way, let air walk inside, the water walks outside. The purpose for internally finned tube is to increase exchanger's area.This kind of heat exchangers have already confirmed to have higher efficiency, can lower cooler's physical volume in the compressor. Compares the internally finned tube with tradition tube exchanger, the result shows that heat transfer augments, volume decreases, metallic material reduces and energy saves. So the internally finned tube exchanger have very wide engineering application background. Few studies have been carried out on the enhanced heat transfer mechanism of internally finned tube due to the complex and irregular external shape. The effects of various structure parameters on heat transfer performance in the internally finned tube have not been studied systematically.This text used experiment research and numerical simulation to research the internally finned tube that used in heat exchanger for centrifugal compressor.The results of the internally finned tube were compared with that of the smooth tubes by the rules of the same quality flow,the same pump power,and the same pressure drop.The ratio is 12.1-13.2,5.3-6.2,2.9-3.8.The concrete depend on R_e number. When R_e number increment the ratio value slightly lowers.This text use a FEA software-ANSYS FLOTRAN to analysis the efficiency of tube's heat exchanger. It have the meaning for people to reference to resolve the similar problem.
