Dynamic Consolidation (DC) has become a generally accepted ground improvement technique for its simplicity and cost-effectiveness, dynamic consolidation of the foundation to further improve soil strength and uniformity, lower compression to eliminate uneven subsidence, to improve the physical and mechanical properties of engineering characteristics with obvious results. According to a number of Changsha clay backfill the foundation of dynamic engineering practice, the paper from the dynamic compaction of reinforcement, reinforcing effect, factors affecting aspects of the system are analyzed. This paper achieved the following results andconclusions1. In this paper, using mechanical knowledge, the combination of dynamic compaction deformation characteristics of the dynamic consolidation model ,and the system analysises the progress and mechanism of dynamic consolidation;2. In this paper, the dynamic consolidation effect soil compression modulus increases and the depth and impact of capacity increases and deep into effect Analysis of the trip, and the corresponding figure for the semi-quantitative calculation;3. Analysis of this tamping number ,tamping energy and time to intermittent effects of dynamic consolidation. This paper has been used for the laboratory and in-situ testing a combination of methods, data collection and collation. Analysis of the compacted soil physical properties and the nature of the changes, to further explore the depth and tamping energy, subgrade bearing capacity and compression modulus and tamping number relationships. According to the relevant test data for a reasonable curve fitting and came to the corresponding empirical formulas;4. By using research results to guide the practice of a specific project, according to the result examination, verify the research result and engineering to practice basic fit together.
