| With development of the world automotive industry, while national economy increasing and people's living standard increasing, serious air pollution by vehicle exhaust gas and energy shortage also are caused at the same time. Human healthy, survival and development are being menaced by all those. Fuel quality for vehicle is closely relative to vehicle exhaust gas, consumption of energy and air quality, so improving fuel quality is important. .One of the most effective methods improving gasoline performances is to add additives to the gasoline. The coupling additives, one of the most important ways, can settle second environmental pollutions and toxic actions to exhaust treatment devices which are caused by tetra ethyl lead and MTBE. And meanwhile the coupling additive is good to environment and can regenerate. In the terms of energy conservation and continuous development, the coupling additive is the gasoline dope with the most prospective application outlook.This project is to analyze the influence of the additive on fuel economy and emission performance with adding the different proportion additive to the gasoline and without the additive by the bench tests. And on the base of this additive, the coupling additive is designed and experimentally analyzed at the same time. Fuel economy and the emissions at the idling and fast idling speed are mainly experimental analysis contents of both the bench tests and actual vehicle road tests.The bench tests show that the additive can improve the fuel economy obviously. Under test condition, the average fuel consumption can be improved by 5.3%, and HC and CO emissions also can be improved at the same time. The road tests also show that the additive can improve the fuel economy obviously. Under the city and the suburb conditions, the fuel consumption is all improved more than by 5%.Experiments data show this additive can improve the fuel economy and emission performance obviously, by research on the effects of this additive, coupling additive and different performance fuels being used in our China for gasoline. |
