The research from theory and experiment shows that the shock wave produces when the sound wave with short time and limited amplitude propagates in the liquid and arrives at surface of materials. With its properties of high energy and instantaneous great pressure in the liquid, the process power converter suits for the application of surface transformation and materials strengthen.On the basis of pulse ultrasound focused technology and the theory of nonlinearity propagation of sound wave in liquid, with the help of former research on shock wave generator; a kind of shock wave control system based on C8051F040 was presented in the paper. Then a kind of measurement method which based on piezoelectric pressure sensor was established and some experiments are carried out on it.Details are as follows:1. On the basis of piezoelectric inverse effect, the lens style element and multi-element shock wave converters was simply introduced. Form the equivalent circuit of converter, it presents the design requirements and guideline of shock wave power supply, and studies the PWM control of high frequency switch power supply and main circuit systematically. Then the power and efficiency are tested.2. Through the shock wave generator and its applications, this paper develops a shock wave control system which bases on the SoC MCU C8051040. From the assignment of design and based on the principle of modularization, it studies the hardware circuit and software development. In order to improve the reliability, this paper presents some methods of anti-jamming.3. Based on the nonlinearity propagation of shock wave in the liquid and the system of shock wave generator, a new measurement system is presented for the shock wave properties. Then one solution for testing the pressure of shock wave is presented and this system is applied to test the max pressure and some other properties of shock wave.
