While most countries all over the world are developing green and renewable energy, solar energy is accepted commonly at present because of its unusual advantages. In variousapplication areas, Photovoltaic (PV) systems are paid more attention. With lower cost andhigher performance of PV, the role of PV generation systems is gradually changed fromsupplemental to substitute. In the future, one of the main utilization of solar energy wilt bethe photovoltaic grid-connected system. This paper deals with many theoretical problems about photovoltaic grid-connectedsystem such as optimum angle of inclination, converter, true maximum power pointtracking and islanding effect. The task comprises building monitoring system, designinghardware and software. Finally, this paper analyzes some real data of grid-connected PVsystem which is a Sino-Canada project of "10kW Grid-Connected PV Program in ChangShu, China".
