21 centuries is mankind development and make use of the underground space of century. For longtime, It is concemed about the interaction of underground structures and the surrounding medium. Thisis not only because of the underground structure of the security problems, but also it must be resolvedwhen we develop underground space. Based on Pubugou Hydropower Station underground powerhouse,we research the problem. Based on ANSYS, we build up a model and carry on the mesh demarcation.Subsequently, we have a dynamic analysis. Then we analyse the results by Gemeral Postproc. Before dynamic analysis of structure, the thesis researches the influence of boundary selection onthe frequency of the underground hydropower house. The large-scale underground powerhouse isapplied widely in modern hydroelectric projects. But the effect of the surrounding rock on structuralperformances is complicated. However, because of the complexity of the underground workshopstructure and the width of the surrounding rock, only a limited part of rock is intercepted in FEM. So theselection of the boundary is very important. Based on the Pubugou hydropower house, the influence ofeach kind of elastic boundary and the fixed boundary on the frequency of the powerhouse is studied indetail, which is helpful in dynamic analysis and resonance check of pewerhouse. There are eightdifferent models in this thesis. They include finite element model of powerhouse without surroundingrock and finite element model of powerhouse with surrounding rock. We ignore the damp whenresearching the influence of boundary selection on the frequency of the underground hydmpower house. After researching the frequency of the underground hydropower house, we analyse the response ofboundary to dynamic loads. We obtain the frequency of dynamic loads, which we often meet with, bythe analysis of oscillation headstream. Such as, the normal rotate speed and the flying off rotate speed.Based on this analysis, we research the response of structure under high frequency load. Because thedynamic calculation requests the computer with good capability, we don't consider the surrounding rock.We only consider the surrounding rock as predigestion boundary. We select four boundaries, elasticityboundary, fixed boundary, viscidity boundary and viscidity-elasticity boundary. In this way, we hopefind out a simple method of dynamic calculation in order to improve the calculation efficiency.
