At present, along with the development of railway, the technology is renovating about railway corporations. More and more subjects turn out. The characteristic of extrusion aluminum alloy profiles makes progress about the carbody of aluminum alloy profiles. Making sure the design of the carbody with aluminum alloy profiles have enough strength, stiffness, comfort, stabilization and fatigue life, the thesis researched on some aspects, as follows:Firstly, the geometry model is created by the carbody of aluminum alloy profiles, using the method of stiffness equivalence, which is based on the research achievement of general thin shell theory. It could not only take into account the strength and stiffness about the car body, but also reserve the precision of the calculation by using this method.Secondly, using the finite element software I-DEAS analyses the properties of aluminum alloy carbody about stiffness, strength, mode, buckling. By researching the regularity of deformation and stress region could find the carbody weakness; by researching the regularity of mode could find the carbody dynamic stability; by researching the regularity of stability could find the carbody self-control.Then, according to the welded body of the carbody of aluminum alloy profiles, using the IIW standard (XIII-1539-96/ XV-845-96) predicts the fatigue life about the carbody , the IIW standard shows us many S-N curves of aluminum alloy welded joints. Those data come from experiments, they could resolve complicated engineering problems, especially the fatigue life contrast of design project, because they take into account stress concentration, weld size , shape deviation, stress orientation, residual stress etc.Finally, according to the importance and applied universality of the AAR standard, basing on the technical route of prediction of fatigue life and the instance of the wagon the thesis calculates the fatigue life and the design stress under different welded joints and multi-loading spectrums.
