The implement module of each method and its basic principle of the electronic ballast are discussed systematically in this paper. We carry on the hardware design of the ordinary fluorescent lamp of alternating current electronic ballast by referencing the national standard of the performance requirement and safety requirement of the electronic ballast in detail. At the same time the active approach of enhancing the technique content of electronic ballast was explored through the combination of theoretical analysis and the hardware electric circuit.The electronic ballast is mainly made up by the common mode and different mode filter circuit, the bridge type rectifier circuit, half bridge inverter circuit, the passive expelling stream power factor compensation circuit, the disorder protection circuit. The electromagnet interference is checked by the filter circuit, and the line power factor is enhanced by the power factor compensation circuit availably. In order to enhance the luminous efficiency of the strip lamp and avoid the disadvantages of extinction of arc under the low frequency operating condition, the electronic ballast must work in the high frequency state, its frequency is in 20 80kHz.
