Design And Study Of An Automatic Arranging Device Of Steel Arranging Nails

At present, the production automation of steel arranging nails has not been realized. In order to improve the productivity and output of steel arranging nails, the automatic production of steel arranging nails is studied in this paper.An automatic device of steel arranging nails is designed and developed on the base of the collection of relevant information. The goal of design is arranging 5000 nails per hour, but hourly numbers can be changed by adjusting the speed of the motor. The machine is characteristic of high productivity, simple structure, universal purpose, good reliability and low-cost.The machine mainly includes the framework, the orienting device, the arranging device and the electric control panel.Its primary work process is that steel nails after being separated by the device such as the electromechanical vibrator are oriented by the orienting device, the nail sharp of steel nails after being oriented are forward or backward, and then which are arranged by the arranging device, the nail sharp of steel nails are accordant; the nail head are accordant, too.The pneumatic design of all the functions of the machine is finished, and the pneumatic circuit drawing is produced; the design of the electric-control parts of the machine is finished, including the design of the electric circuitry, the determination of the I/O interface signal and the design and debugging of control-program.The principle of the magnetic orientation is identified in the examination; the steel nails in the movement are oriented by the bar magnet; the steel nails are automatically arranged by the sensor, PLC control and pneumatic system; the nails which fall short of requirements are removed in the way that electromagnet is fixed with the cylinder's piston rod.Finally, some main factors which affect the productivity of the automatic device of steel arranging nails are analyzed. After optimizing design, the intended purpose is achieved.
