The Wu-du reservoir project lies on the 4Km upstream of Wu-du town of Jiang-you city in Sichuan province, it is the head reservoir with integration benefit of flood controlling, irrigation, power generation, water supplying, environment refinement, touring and aquiculture. The storage of the reservoir is 572 million m3, the capacity of the power station is 3×50MW, and the main hydro-structures are rolled concrete dam and power house after the dam. The height of dam is the 119.14m. The foundation of the river bed is mainly dolomite, it is V class dam foundation.This paper describe the security monitoring on Wu-du reservoir dam foundation blasting excavation and the influence measure, according to the analysis of the monitoring on the blasting excavation, the formulas of blasting speed , the relationship between sect drug quantity and the distance are put forward. The area of the rock becoming flexible is rose, a optimize case of safeguard layer excavation is put forward, and the main construction parameters are known from it, which can be the important technique sustain for the safety and celerity foundation construction.The embankment geology of the Wu-du reservoir is complexity, more monitoring should be put to the construction process and the construction parameter should be adjust according to the results of the monitoring in the left construction.The embankment geology of the Wu-du is a typical one in the southwest China, the fruit of this paper can be a reference to the same projects.
