While a large number of converters based on power electronics techniques and other nonlinear loads are widely used in power systems, the electric workers of many countries have already paid close attention to various kinds of the relevant power quality problems that these equipments bring. At the same time, development of micro-electronics technique spurs wide application of all kinds of automatic devices and greatly advances productivity. But many serious accident and huge damage occurred in the manufacture process in that the device sensitivity for descending power quality. The power quality problem is harmful not only to power system itself, but to a large deal of power customers. Thus, it's important for us to measure power quality on line.The quality problem of dynamic power is the growing new problem that reveals out suddenly and violently but gradually up to the social information in recent years. The study on these dynamic power quality problems is still at the starting stage, how define dynamic power quality problem, with what kind of characteristic amount describe, how to make the reasonable index to assess etc. , still lack ripe experience and method . All these need to study , explore and practice deeply further. It is mainly talk about dips and sags of dynamic power quality. Recommend being constructed the three-phase fictitious voltage by the single-phase voltage, then varyαβ, receive the characteristic amount of dips. Not only the precision is high for this method , but also real-time character is better. Because contain a lot of harmonic in the voltage, the result resolved toαβneed Kalman filter in order to reach more satisfactory result. And utilizes above-mentioned algorithms on the basis of charging the power quality monitoring system that the network uses in Distribution system of a factory, increase the interface of dips with visual basic programming. Make it become a set of more intact ones and include the harmonic , voltage fluctuate , flash , three-phase uneven , frequency skew and dips every power quality index inclusive analysis administrative system temporarily.According to the practice, Power Quality Monitoring not only can solve the problems of the accurate of measurement in stabile power system such as harmonic, instantaneous voltage fluctuation and so on, but also transient power issues such as voltage well, voltage sag and voltage interruption and so on. Additionally, this system provides the flexible and various display and output. This system has good opening, expansibility and better stability. Develop and supervise and offer technical support to turn to the technology which strengthens power quality into reality in its success, have offered the scientific basis for improving power quality further.
