Along with the accelerating of the national economy and urbanization, theconstruction develops rapidly, but more and more unfavorable geological conditionsappear. To meet the intension, distortion and aseismatic demands, the natural soft soilfoundation has to be artificially treated. The soil-cement mixing pile has been widelyused in kinds of construction practices, because of its significant economic benefit,convenience in construction and less pollution.By now, the application and research of soil-cement mixing pile reinforcetechnology only has several decades' history. Its reinforcing mechanism is stillimpercipient, thus the design theory and method are immature, and some of them arestill semi-experiential and semi-theoretical. The calculation theory of subsidencedistortion of composite foundation needs further research, especially a conformableview of calculation method should be reached and the calculation method should beimproved. In the current regulation, foundation treatment calculation theory appliesultimate bearing failure state calculating method. This method is quite conservativeand often courses waste. This paper discusses how to make the composite foundationtreatment scheme for soil-cement mixing pile reasonable and economical as well assafe and reliable according with distortion control design principle, under theprecondition of meeting the construction service function demands.The paper concludes the literatures about the composite foundation ofsoil-cement mixing pile, applies complex method combining with constructioninstance and according to subsidence control design principle, and works out acalculation process which can optimize the design parameters of the compositefoundation for soil-cement mixing pile with given length and diameter of pile andgiven replacement ratio. The research result indicates that design with methodintroduced in this paper can save the cost of soil-cement mixing pile withoutchanging the performance. This paper has some reference meaning to the constructionpractice.
