We do not consider the mortar and the steel truss interaction working behavior when we design the Jian qiang panel. However, According to the design theory of composite structure, if can make the steel truss and the mortar combine and work together, it must improve the mechanical properties of Jian qiang panel.According to the theory of composite structure, two kinds of different materials can combine to work together mainly owe to the dependable connection between two kinds of materials. The widespread method is to set shear connectors at the materials interface. The function of connector is mainly to transfer shearing force, at the same time, can effectively resist"lift force"which make two kinds of materials separate. So, firstly, this paper ameliorates the production processes of Jian qiang panel, make the steel truss and the mortar combine together, and then it became the composite truss with sandwich panel of this paper. Secondly, through the experiments, this paper analyzes the flexural strength, impact capability, deflection, slip and lift displacement of composite panel. Finally, based on the test results, theoretical analysis and research for composite panel are done in this paper.At the theories part, this paper studies the flange plate effective width of composite truss. Through introducing concept of strain grads, make a more objective evaluation toward the change of strain which along two kinds of different width of panel. By analyzing to data and combining experiment results, this paper put forward a method on using effective width coefficient to compute flange plate effective width. In the elastic analysis process, this paper put forward a method on using transformed area to compute the strength and the deflection of composite panel, because of the interface slip between the mortar and the steel truss, derives a formula about computing the deflection. In the plastic analysis process, this paper derives an ultimate strength formula, and it considers the plastic developing of steel.At last, this paper compares the improved Jian qiang panel with the not improved Jian qiang panel in flexural strength and deflection aspects. The results show that after ameliorating the mortar and the steel truss can work together remarkably, greatly improve the mechanical properties of Jian qiang panel, it also proves the theory of this paper is correct.
