GSHP is the high efficiency and energy saving air condition technique. The research of heat transfer between underground heat exchanger and soil was the key of GSHP. After the research and analysis of the existing underground heat exchanger models, the operating performance model coupling underground heat exchanger and GSHP performance was proposed. After the model being validated by experimentation of GSHP, The simulation research is carrying on the operating performance of GSHP and the response of the soil temperature field. The main simulation content are as follow: The operating performance of GSHP and the response of the soil temperature under the operating of continuous and intermittent, as well as changed load are researched. Changing the space between each hole and the form, the operating performance and the response of the soil temperature are researched. It is shown that: The controlled intermittent operating and the periodic reduce of load are to be helpful to operating performance of GSHP; In fixed hole area, the small space is in favor of operating of GSHP. Design of hole space is based on Build Load as well as operating energy consumption and hole installation acreage; The interlaced form of underground heat exchangers is better to orderly form to GSHP operating. The conclusion from simulation is valuable to the design and operation control strategy of GSHP.
