For the combustion of pulverized-coal in furnace is a physical and chemical reaction, the combusion inspection and analysis is a complex problem all the time.Three-dimension temperature field visualization's realization provides a new method for combusion inspection and analysis in furnace. So by means of flame image to inspect the combusion situation became a key research point. This paper analysised the combusion situation by the flame gray, high temperature area rate, flame center from the image which photoed from the system we installed in power plant and compared to the real situation. The conclusion is that these information included in the flame image can reflect the combusion situation well. This paper also analysised a extinguish process from the flame image which we recorded from yaomen power plant.Tthe result matched well with the real running parameter and indicated that the flame image information reaction speed is faster than other inspection equipments. The flame image inspection system can improve the function of FSSS.Meanwhile, the flame image is originated from the visible light of the burning pulverized-coal radiation.so for effective analysis of flame image ,we must research the radiation property of burning pulverized-coal.this paper simulated the combusion process and computerd the radiation property distribution of pulverized-coal along the altitude of boiler. At he same time,we collected the sampling of the burning pulverized-coal in Qinshan 200MW power plant and analysised the carbon content which is the most important for radiation of different level of the boiler.the carbon content's distribution match well with the simulate calculation.
