Study On Composition Mode Of Vehicle Lane Width And Transect In Wuhan City

The constitution of the transect of the roads always absorbs the most attention of the designers and the administrators。And the main issue of that is the design of the Carriageway width。The contemporary criterion,which is named as《The Criterion Design of The Urban Road》,is based on the circumstances(such as the characteristics of the motor cars,the constitution of the traffic and the status of the traffic,and so on)of twenty years ago for the regulations on the breadth of the lane width。As we all know that it has changed very much in the design and construction of the urban traffic during the past twenty years,for the circumstances of the traffic has been changing into more and more complexity。The regulations on the breadth of the lane width is no longer suitable to the contempory works of design and construction。This paper demonstrates the research on the breadth of the driveway width in Wuhan。On the basis of large amounts of relevant data and the studies on spot,we analysed the possible factors on the breadth of the Carriageway width。By the methods of symbolic statistics,we got the distribution of the transverse trace of the moving cars in the lane,and through which,we eventually got the safe distance for different styles of cars and different circumstances。By the comparison with the traditional methods,which was called as the corrected Bolankerf model,we got the recommended breadth for the driveway width in Wuhan。This paper will also commit the technological and economical appraisal on the ultimate breadth of the driveway width,including the guide lines for the appraisement,on the domestic and overseas appliment of the breadth。At last,this paper extends the research to the studies on the constitution of the transect of the roads,and commits the relevant suggestions,regulations and measures for the intending construciton and the contemporary reconstruction of the roads in Wuhan。...
