The Power Network Simulation System (PSS) integrates computing simulation, communication, networking technique and the method of mathematics modeling. The key technique of PSS is the method of mathematics modeling. The load flow calculation model of PSS is the foundation of all other calculating and analytic part of the system.This thesis make researches on the modeling technique of the electric power network load flow calculation and the implementation of fast P-Q decouple method is discussed. The thesis also present a optimization method combined the storage technique of sparse matrices with the improved MDML (minimum degree and minimum length) node numbering scheme, which is based on the technique of sparse vector, It can greatly shorten the time to execute the program of Load flow calculation.This thesis also researches the modeling of the fault flow calculation of the Power network. At the same time, a computer graphical interface tool EFLOW is present. The above model is applied on the real power network simulation system and it is proved to be valid.
