The progress of a structure impacting to the water is rather a complex instantaneous progress. In fact, when a ship sails in waves, it is not a rigid body but a variable elastic body. At the same time the water field around the ship is also influenced by the motions of the ship. That is to say, when a high speeded body contacts water surface, not only will strong impacting pressure produced, but also will the deformation reactive liquid field around it. In past decades, a number of scholars neglect the effects of structural elasticity and consider them as rigid bodies. The destination of this thesis is to work out the elastic impact pressure and the value of the elasticity effect coefficientηwhen the flat structure rushes into water. At the same time, double coefficients are found out using the largest pressure formula, which are generally used in practical projects when considering the elasticity effect. Collection of illustrative plates aboutηand regression formulas can be get from the plates in several section positions with different thicknesses, speeds and proportions of length and breath. According to the rigid impact pressure and the value ofηfrom collection of illustrative plates in practice, elastic impact pressure can be got.
