Appearance of CAAD makes architectural design process take place great change.The most remarkable and most essential change among architectural design process is the flowing way of building information which is a nuclear question of influencing architect's working way.The flowing way of information in architect's work includes "human-computer interaction" and "human - human interaction".Through analyzing the flowing way of building information in the architectural design process in different eras,we attempt to explain the extant unreasonable part in the working way of some architects from the point of view of information flows,and research more rational flowing way of information according to development level of existing CAAD platform.On the basis of fully analyzing early and contemporary architect's working way,author put forward the questions existing among them, searched the solution and offered the theoretical foundation and technical support for promotion of architect's working way.The architect's working way taking three-dimensional file as information media must replace the existing working way taking two-dimensional drawing as information media with its overall advantage.So long as the software and hardware technology of the computer develop to certain extent,three-dimensional CAAD platform can run high-efficiently on the ordinary PC.The architect's working way and whole construction field will begin an information revolution-replacing the existing separated collection of two-dimensional files with the single and integrated building information model file.The architect's working way relying mainly on three-dimensional CAAD platform can solve the problem of "human-computer interaction" well in two-dimensional CAAD era.If "human-computer interaction" wants to be solved well,it will need user interface and virtual reality technology to get breakthrough, though it has been made great improvement.
