Solar energy is one of renewable and clean energy resources. Monocrystalline silicon solar cell is one of the most direct and important means for solar energy utilization. However the problem of low efficient of photo-electricity transfer is also included in monocrystalline silicon solar cell. The efficient of the cell can be increased apparently by improving the intensity of illumination and reducing the temperature of the cell. Therefore, it is necessary to utilize the Photovoltaic/Thermal (PV/T) comprehensive utilization devices to increase the total efficiency of solar energy. The theoretical analysis and experimental research of the PV/T was carried out, in the basis of literature study. The research is practical in the field of engineering. The development of solar thermal collector was introduced firstly, theoretical analyses of electrical and thermal performance which is relevant to the intensity of illumination and the work temperature of the solar cell was researched. The calculating relationships between the short-circuit current and illumination, and between the open-circuit voltage and the temperature of the cell were deduced by the formulas. It was compared by the experimental results. The PV/T device was designed and manufactured by the conjunctions of solar cell and thermal collector. The experimental researches were in the basis of the device, the efficiencies of photo-electricity and photo-thermal were studied and the electrical performance was examined in the different illumination and cell temperature. The concentrating ratio from 2x to 6x of the Fresnel Lense Concentrators were used in studying the solar cell, and the optical ratio was determined as 3.5x, and then, the experiment of thermal performance was processed. The operating condition included as below: the short circuit current and open circuit voltage when the lens were implemented or not, and the electrical performance when the water cooling was used or not. The experimental results proved that: the short circuit current was increased by the raising of illumination, and the open circuit voltage was increased by the lowing of cell temperature. The effect of heat assumption in the solar collector was improved by using the PV/T device, and the comprehensive utilization efficient was advanced by the use of heat which was produced by the solar cell.
