Compared with other mechanize traffic modes, the general urban bus has many advantages such as less investment, higher transport efficiency, less occupancy per person, lower energy consumption and pollution discharge. Therefore in order to relax the urban traffic pressure and improve the ratio of the bus travel, it is necessary to develop bus traffic and perform Bus Priority. Bus priority transit in urban is an important treatment for the development of bus priority. Bus priority transit on the roadway between intersections can decrease jam to the buses, increase their speed and reduce bus delay, just to availably ensure the bus arriving on time and enhance the level of bus reserve. This measure will be of great important to promote the development of public traffic, relax traffic pressure of urban and assure the city to develop persistently. This paper researches on the evaluation indexes on the urban link which applies to an urban link in Shenzhen.Firstly the paper analyzes the disturb factors to buses through the bus present status on the roadway, gives bus priority transit to solve those factors. Because of the merit of bus lanes and the success of the practice in the word, the bus lane is one of the main methods of the bus priority transit; the paper expatiates on the types setting method and applicable condition of the roadway bus priority.Secondly the paper expatiates the evaluation indexes of bus priority transit to research on the evaluation indexes of bus exclusive lane. To quantize the evaluation indexes, the classic traffic flow models applied on the bus priority is expatiated.Thirdly base on the introduction of vehicle license plate recognition system , put forward traffic flow parameter collection scheme ;Because of dissimilarity between bus and social vehicle car; the paper improves the travel time per person arithmetic; the paper puts forward three evaluation indexes which are the average speed of social vehicle, the average speed of bus and the average link travel time per person and works over the process of concrete evaluation with the vehicle license plate recognition system.Finally with the example of the road in Shenzhen, the paper validates the evaluation indexes studied in the paper and gives the conclusion.
