With the fast development of modern information age, the information to be processed is skyrocketing immensely. The researches and applications of image processing catch great attentions from researchers all over the world. In recent years, the development of micro-electronics technology has put the theory achievement of digital signal processing field into practical systems, and pushed the progress of new theory and application. At the same time, it plays an important role in the field of image processing.With the development of infrared imaging technology and infrared focal plane array (IRFPA) solid image detectors, IRFPA is widely used in various imaging system in the military, industrial and commercial fields. Typical applications include missile guidance, aerial survey, infrared hunting and tracing system, custom suppress smuggling, salvage equipment and forest fire control etc. The requirements of the quality of infrared imaging is becoming higher and higher.In this dissertation, the software design of infrared image processing system based on ARM9 is studied. According to the thorough analysis of performance and characteristics of S3C2410 MCU and characteristics of infrared imaging, the software implementation scheme of infrared image processing system based on S3C2410 is put forward. After analyzing non-uniformity of infrared image, an improved algorithm called one-plus-two point correction algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the system structure and the software and hardware constitute is simply introduced. Then the design data transmission by DMA is expounded.The analysis and implementation of key algorithms in infrared image processing field are introduced in detail. The design of video line-frame interrupt is studied. The design of LCD controller driver interface andμC/GUI porting are analyzed in detail. Meanwhile, the architecture of multi-task management system base onμC/OS-II is discussed, in the end, introduce the attempt of system performance optimizing. According to the practical measurement of this system, the performance of both hardware and software all meet with such requirements as stability, reliability and real time etc. And functionally, it is general to some extent.
