As we all know, energy and environment is the emergency problem which should be solved for people better living and development. Most energy source we consumed are fuel and coal, which are limited and make serious air pollution. Wind power, as renewable, no pollution source, is paid great attention by more and more countries.This paper deals with design and realization of main controller for VSCF. The main contents of the thesis are as follows:1. This dissertation analyzes DFIG(doubly fed induction generator)operation theory, including mathematic model of DFIG coordinate transformation, DFIG operation characteristics, DFIG power relationship, which establishes the theoretical foundation for succeeding study.2. Using the stator field orientation vector control theory in the d-q axis synchronous rotating reference frame, the expressions of output power and excitation control parameters of doubly fed generator have been established, which effectively reflect the function of the amplitude, phase angle and frequency of the rotor excitation current for controlling the output power.3. A laboratory simulation/emulation platform, that consists of a DC motor to emulate wind turbine, a set of linked dual back-to-back voltage-source converters, dSPACE sy- stem,etc,is designed and implemented for the project"11kw VSCF doubly fed induct- ion generator wind power system". 4. Based on these devices, the experimental research of DFIG output active & reactive power decoupled control, the maxim wind power capture operation, grid-connection control and the grid-side converter control were carried out with lots of experiment datum achieved. The experimental results testify the validity of the theory and the control strategy proposed by this dissertation.
